Michelle Obama's Fabulous 1st Year in Fashion

Lately I am sure all of you have been hearing a lot of criticism of President Obama and how his first year went. People have been grading him based on which of America's problems he has fixed and what things he can do to improve. While seeing all of this I came up with an idea to focus on First Lady Michelle Obama's first year and look at the huge influence she has had on the fashion industry. It all started when her official White House Photo was revealed and people complained about her arms showing. She definitely turned into a fashion icon overnight. Thus, I decided to share my top 10 favorite looks from her first year.

#10 Black and White print dress with bolero cardigan

#9 Maria Pinto red sheath dress with pleated neckline; meeting Mr. and Mrs. George W. Bush

#8 Gray tweed suit from Thakoon; presenting at Coming Up Taller Awards

#7 Grey Moschino Dress worn to Robert F. Kennedy Human Rights Award Ceremony

#6 Talbot's floral print dress and cashmere cardigan departing Moscow

#5 J. Crew beaded cardigan and jacquard skirt for a meeting with Britain's First Lady

#4 Retro inspired Rodarte Dress Olympic Committe Reception

#3 Michael Kors silk shaunting suit at the UN General Assembly
